United Kingdom: Natamycin in semolina

The Natamycin is an extremely useful fungicide but it’s no allowed to use in all countries, United Kingdom authorizing applying this substance. This fungicide is used in United Kingdom on the outside of the semolina, tapioca and similar puddings as a preventive mold. The highest possible for these products is 3 µg/g. This product is useful for preventing the appearance of fungi and yeasts for a long period of time. It doesn’t modify the food maturing process.
